Table with us at the AAPI Hob Nob and Community Resource Fest! We'll be there talking to attendees about what the Democratic Party is doing in Orange County and how they can get involved. We'll also be providing information about how to register to vote, update their registration, and request their vote-by-mail ballot.

In November 2024, Orange County voters voted to expand the number of county commission districts from 6 to 8. The redistricting process is happening now and relies heavily on public input to ensure that the maps are drawn in the best interest of Orange County residents.  Please join us at the upcoming redistricting meetings to make your voice heard in the redistricting process. If you’re unfamiliar with the details of redistricting, we will provide details and guidance for you. 

  Join us for a free informational community event to learn about voter registration, Vote-by-Mail, and details about your precinct. Have you ever wondered: What voting district you live in? Who your city or county commissioners are and what they do? Where your voting precinct is located? We’ve got you covered! This event is free and open to the public. We encourage you to attend, bring a friend, and be informed.  Get informed. Join the Young Democrats of Orange County for an engaging and informative candidate forum featuring the candidates running for Orlando’s District 3 City Council seat. This panel-style discussion will give you the chance to hear directly from the candidates about their vision for our community, their priorities for District 3, and how they plan to address the issues that matter most to young progressives in Orange County. The Young Dems are committed to building an informed and active youth electorate. Come join us at our Monthly meeting on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025 at 6pm. The meeting is held at the Denny's Restaurant near the airport - 5725 TG Lee Blvd, Orlando. Our guest speaker this month will be SAMUEL VILCHEZ SANTIAGO, the Orange County Democrats Chair. He will speaking about the importance of political involvement this year. We will be addressing postcards to local democrats to remind them to renew their Vote-By-Mail registration. There are local City Council elections coming up in November and we want to boost democratic voter turnout. ALL ARE WELCOME. BRING A FRIEND.

The monthly New Members Orientation Call for the Orange County Democratic Party provides a comprehensive introduction to the organization's structure, values, and opportunities for involvement. This call includes introductions, an overview of the party's mission, explanations of key roles and committees, information on upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, and a Q&A session. It aims to empower new members to actively participate.

Please join us at our next monthly meeting of the Lake Nona Democrats.  Our guest speakers will be: Eric Gray - Democratic candidate for Florida House District 35 in the 2026 election. Eric serves as Executive Director of the Christian Service Center for the Homeless, focused on helping struggling families in Central Florida by preventing homelessness, combating poverty and cultivating self-sufficiency. Kam Shenai - co-founder of "AAPI Coming Together" (ACT). Their mission is to engage, educate, and empower the AAPI community in Central Florida. We will be meeting on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 10am-noon at the Gatherings Clubhouse. The address is 7501 Laureate Blvd. There is some parking at the Clubhouse and on the adjoining streets of Hitchings and Watson. Hope to see everyone there.
